Tips for Parents During COVID-19

Who is it for?

Parenting can be difficult and even more so with the coronavirus pandemic going on right now. This video will provide parents and caregivers with the necessary tips to make working and teaching from home a smoother experience.

What is covered?

The following important tips will be introduced to assist parents and caregivers with handling the coronavirus in appropriate ways with their children:
  • Reassure your children
  • Maintain routines
  • Have interesting things to do
  • Take notice of positive behavior
  • Talk about COVID-19
  • Be honest when answering questions
  • Have a plan of action
  • Tolerating uncertainty
  • Take care of yourself
  • Reach out to loved ones
